How to Style: Moss Agate Cluster

Today we are going to look at 3 versions on how to style "Lyra" featuring the most popular green stone for us, Moss Agate! If you're into the spirituality side of gemstones, Agate is known for its emotionally healing properties! This is a great neutral stone if you want a pop of color but don't want anything too loud. These stones vary greatly with their patterns and inclusions, so if you need a symmetrical pair to feel balanced, maybe pass on this one! They're all unique and one-of-a-kind with their shades and colors with some being more transparent and clear with a lighter green hue, and some a deep forest green color with minimal transparency.

For our first look, we have moss agate in the helix, upper lobe, and tragus to balance the colors proportionally. I added some chains and dangles to add some movement and fill in the space. This ear definitely feels "full" but still gives an elegant, luxury feel with all of the sparkles highlighting the colored stones.

In this ear we have "Lyra" in the conch as the statement piece surrounded by studs that feel dainty and celestial. The tragus piercing brings it forward so it isn't so visually heavy on the outside of the ear. This design feels less about the moss agate, and more about nature being the inspiration!

This ear is a PERFECT example of how you don't need a lot of piercings to have a dramatic look! This version is probably my favorite because the placements and jewelry feel so intentional together. It's a little hard to tell, but the marquise fan, or lotus shape, is labradorite which hints a green-ish blue hue depending on where the light hits it to compliment the lightness of the white stones as well as balance the moss agate colors. This curation has a heavy nature focus, using the starry "Lyra" cluster, the lotus flower shape, and the constellation.
Let me know which is your favorite, or if there are any specific pieces you want to see next!

Here's another close up of that marquise fan!
